About Us

Our pursuit of excellence goes back a long way.

We first opened our doors in 1874. Customers arrived on horseback and business was done with pen and paper instead of computers. Since then, we've gone through a lot of changes. And we've proudly served the financial needs of thousands of Middle Tennessee residents and businesses. What guides us? How have we grown? Our Mission Statement and History timeline offer some insights.

Our mission is to be the premier community bank in the markets we serve. We will enhance the customer experience by serving the personal and business needs of our markets, providing superior customer service, investing in the communities we serve, and enriching the lives of our employees.
