Fraud Alert

Due to recent fraudulent activity with ATM and Debit cards in the Southeast, First National Bank is taking preventative actions to protect our customers. As an extra layer of protection against this potential fraud, we are now requiring our customers to use the Debit card PIN on any transaction , over 25.00, where the point of sale allows a PIN number to be entered (like at gas pumps). Transactions as a credit card, over this amount will be declined. Protecting our customers from identity theft is one of our top priorities. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Here are some additional tips to help us protect you:

• For peace of mind, carry an alternate payment method as a back up if you are traveling, especially if outside of the state.

• Register your card with smsGuardian, by clicking on the link on our homepage.

• Use a credit card instead of the debit card when making purchases online or for recurring payments. A credit card prevents access to your personal funds.
