HISTORY OF FIRST NATIONAL BANK
     • 1874 - Bank organized as The National Bank of McMinnville
     • 1905 - Name changed to The First National Bank of McMinnville
     • 1909 - First automobile drives down McMinnville’s Main Street
     • 1910 - First typewriter used at bank instead of pen and ink
     • 1922 - Bank purchased Morford property at Main and Spring Streets
     • 1924 - New cut stone bank building completed
     • 1925 - Bank forms First Trust Company; later merged into bank
     • 1929 - FDR declares “Bank Holiday” due to Great Depression; FNB reopens early
     • 1934 - FNB rebounds from the Depression and sees phenomenal growth years
     • 1944 - FNB is 70 years old at $4,828,728; June 6, 1944 is D-Day invasion of WWII
     • 1954 to 1964 - FNB see industrial and nursery growth in Warren County; $16,894,381 Total Assets
     • 1967 - FNB purchased Farmers and Merchants Bank in Viola
     • 1972 - Bank acquires Dixie Theater; remodels main office; 2 branches opened in 1970s (Plaza and Northgate)
     • 1974 - 100-year anniversary of FNB; $46,000,000 in Total assets
     • 1987 - Sparta Road branch opens
     • 1989 - FNB installs in-house computer system; total assets hit $139,074,000
     • 1996 - Plaza Branch relocates to new Smithville Highway Office
     • 1997 - Morrison Branch opened
     • 2009 - FNB 135 years old; remodel project underway; 3rd oldest bank in Tennessee
     • 2010 - Construction began in Murfreesboro for a new branch on Gateway Boulevard
     • 2011 - Murfreesboro Branch Opens

Board of Directors

J. DOUGLAS MILNER is the President of Middle Tennessee Dr. Pepper Bottling Company. Mr. Milner has served as a Director since 1995.

John Gregory Boick
JOHN GREGORY BROCK is a major shareholder of Apex Construction Company. Mr. Brock has served as a Director since 1993.

RUFUS W. GONDER is a Certified Public Accountant whose practice is headquartered in McMinnville, Tennessee. Mr. Gonder has served as a Director since 1999.

G.B. GREENE is the president of Womack Printing Co. Mr. Greene has been a board member since 1983.

ROBERT W. JONES is the retired former Chairman of First McMinnville Corporation. Mr. Jones has been a board member since 1962.

C. LEVOY KNOWLES is the Chairman of Telcom Management Services. Mr. Knowles currently holds the position of Chairman of the Board for the Company and First National Bank. He has served as Director since 1999.

MARK A. PIRTLE is President of Mark Pirtle Automotive and Chief Manager of Mark Pirtle Real Estate Investments, LLC. Mr. Pirtle has served as a Director since 2006.

TOM D. VANCE presently serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of both the Company and First National Bank. Mr. Vance has served as a Director since 2006.

PHIL WHISENHUNT has been employed with First National Bank since 1991 and presently serves as the Executive Vice President. Mr. Whisenhunt was elected as a director in 2009.
